CSR7810 offers uniquely voice processing and Bluetooth on a single chip, addressing OEMs’ need for noise reduction in their products. Users frequently struggle to make themselves heard on a mobile phone, due a multitude of reasons such as traffic, roadworks and people. In CSR7810 CSR offers both its industry-leading voice processing technology on its Kalimba DSP and Bluetooth in a small, efficient, cost-effective package.

  • Transcoders for A-law, μ-law and linear voice from host and A-law, μ-law and CVSD voice over air
  • CSR7810 interfaces to host processor using BCHS interface, ideal for cell phones and devices requiring many different Bluetooth profiles
  • Interface to host via CSR's BCHS Bluetooth Stack

Auxiliary features

  • Power management includes digital shutdown and wake-up commands with an integrated low-power oscillator for ultra-low power Park/Sniff/Hold mode
  • Clock request output to control external clock
  • On-chip regulators: 1.5V output from 1.8V to 2.7V input
  • Power-on-reset cell detects low-supply voltage
  • 10-bit ADC available to applications
